This is my go-to salad dressing lately. I love how quick and easy it is to mix together, and the fact that I can pour this dressing over everything like salad (obviously) but also as the base dressing for my Lemon Lentil Salad, Lemon Potato Salad, and as the dressing of choice for my Vegan Greek Salad.

Basically, I love this!

  • Lemon Juice: Fresh is always best, but as I know all too well, sometimes bottled lemon juice has to do. No worries, use what you have.
  • Dijon Mustard: The combination of lemon and Dijon is perfect. Some mustard brands have more kick to them than others, which is why I give a range for the amount in the recipe. My personal favorite brand is Sir Kensington Dijon Mustard.
  • Sugar or Maple Syrup: To balance out all the tangy flavors, a bit of sugar or maple syrup work great.
  • Salt + Garlic Powder: Just a pinch each.

Instructions

Make sure to check out the recipe card below for the full recipe and ingredient list.

Step One: Make the Dressing

This recipe is as easy as can be. Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and whisk together. That’s it!

This recipe really only has one step: mix it all together!

Now, the fun part is customizing it to how you best like your dressing. If you like a little more tang, try it with an extra squeeze of mustard. Want it a little sweeter? Try it with a pinch more sugar.

The great thing about this is that you really can’t go wrong making this dressing.
